Harry Watts Academy Return of the Mac (and Cheese)

Ash Class at Harry Watts Academy had their very first cookery lesson, where they made Mac and Cheese. The pupils started off by learning about all of the ingredients and equipment they would need and then worked in small groups and each took a job.

They started off by boiling the pasta and setting it aside once it was cooked. Then, they grated the cheese and mixed it in the pan with flour, milk and butter to make a lovely cheese sauce. The pupils then added the cooked pasta into the sauce until it was perfect.

All of the pupils loved the first cookery lesson. They all enjoyed their homemade Mac and Cheese made from scratch.
