Introduction from the Chief Executive Officer, Mark Jones
I am proud to lead Prosper Learning Trust and welcome you to its website.
Our academies aim to enable pupils to reach their potential and prepare them for adult life both educationally and emotionally.
Prosper Learning Trust is currently comprised of two Alternative Provision Academies, Newcastle Bridges School, and Mary Astell Academy, and two Special Academies, Thomas Bewick School and Harry Watts Academy, offering education to children and young people who are unable to attend mainstream schools.
Our provisions endeavour to provide our pupils with the chance to return to mainstream schools. Where this is not possible we provide a pupil centred approach in a range of environments. Our academies provide education from 0 to 18 years old, in school buildings, hospitals, and outreach, ensuring appropriate transition at each stage.
